Orangeburg
County Rural Transit Demonstration Project
The
SRTC is currently implementing a program to investigate, develop, and
implement new solutions for an efficient, reliable, and sustained transit
system for the rural community of Orangeburg County. The project seeks
to develop partnerships with: South Carolina Department of Transportation;
Lower Savannah Council of Governments; Santee Wateree Regional Transit
Authority; Orangeburg County governments; local colleges and universities;
and other stakeholders to plan and implement the project.
